From Sonora Juntion on US 395, about 18 miles north of Bridgeport, take State Route 108 west. About 8 miles west of Sonora Pass, turnnorth on Tuolumne County Road and proceed for seven miles to Peaceful Pines Campground and the trailhead for Amot Creek. You can access the Pacific Crest Trail from Sonora Pass.
