Cades Cove
A wide array of historic buildings dating back to the late 19th and early 20th centuries are scattered throughout this cove, including a grist mill, a variety of barns, three churches, and a marvelous collection of log homes and outbuildings. Deer are almost always seen in the fields here, and even bears are spotted from time to time.



Permit Information
Free permits are required for backcountry camping. They are available at the Cades Cove Visitor Center.

Directions
From Route 321, take Route 73 to Laurel Creek Rd.

Information Center
The Cades Cove Visitor Center is located just off Laurel Creek Rd and Parson Branch Rd.
