Groveland
The District offers a variety of recreation opportunities including enjoyable and challenging whitewater rafting runs on Tuolumne River. Be sure to obtain a permit before attempting a rafting trip. Submit a Permit Application Form to Groveland Ranger District office, with the reservation fee for processing. Permit Application Form may be found online at www.r5.fs.fed.us/stanislaus/groveland/tpermit.htm.

Permit Information
Wilderness permit required for overnight camping available at the Groveland Ranger District. To raft Tuolumne River, you must complete a Permit Application Form and return it with the reservation fee: (209) 962-7825.
