Caddo Lake State Park ![]() Stately cypress trees, alligators, and abundant waterfowl inhabit these 8017 acres along Cypress Bayou, which runs into Caddo Lake. An angler's delight, Caddo Lake contains 71 species of fish in its sprawling maze of bayous and sloughs covering 32,000 acres of cypress swamp. Naturalists can enjoy American lotus, lily pads, waterfowl, turtles, frogs, snakes, raccoons, minks, nutrias, beavers, squirrels, armadillos, and white-tailed deer.
