Donated to the state by a group of Coffee County citizens in 1970, this park is named after General John Coffee, a planter, U.S. Congressman and military leader. Annual Events which you might want to plan your trip around include: a Canoe Trip on the Satilla River in March, Natural Heritage Celebration in April, Tobacco Sunday in July, Pioneer Skills Day in November and Christmas on the Pond in December.
