A mixture of prairie grasses and widely spaced trees form a parklike savanna landscape at Knob Noster State Park. Pin Oak Slough Natural Area is a four-acre forested oxbow slough that forms a small wetland along Clearfork Creek. The 3,567-acre park features a nature center with exhibits, several small llakes, a small stream, a wooded campground, an equestrian trail and camp, and two group camps, Camp Shawnee and Camp Bobwhite.


Equestrian lovers should spen the day on the bridle trails then relax under the stars at the equestrian camp.
