You can swim near a sandy beach or wade into cold clear streams cooling your feet while lost in the beauty of nature, raft the exciting and breath-taking Tuolumne River, or canoe one of the many gorgeous lakes. You can ride a horse, a mountain bike or a snowmobile.

  • Walk the Sugar Pine Rail Trail and look for waterfowl along the Stanislaus River.
  • Try whitewater rafting on the exciting Tuolumne River.
  • Take your time on Andresen Mine Trail as you hike these leisurely 4.5 miles with the beautiful backdrop of luscious Stanislaus Forest.
  • Take the Beardsley Nature Trail, an easy walk located at Beardsley Lake.
