Leelanau State Park ![]() The word Leelanau is the Indian word for "A Land of Delight" and could not better describe the area. There is a Grand Traverse Lighthouse and Museum, rustic campgrounds, two mini cabins (each with room to sleep four), eight and one half miles of hiking/skiing trails, a picnic area and Petoskey stones can be found on the beaches.
