A popular recreation spot for hiking, camping, hunting, fishing, and wildlife viewing. Vegetation in the forest ranges from the Southern Yellow pine to the Oak-Hickory Forest in the hardwood bottoms. Catfish, bass, and bream fishing are popular in Okhussee Chutkee pond and the larger Okhussee Thloko pond. During hunting season the Uchee firing range is open. Tuskeegee National Forest also includes the Taska Recreation Area, Bartram National Recreation Trail, and Tsinia Wildlife Viewing Area.

• Visit the Tsinia Wildlife Viewing Area to catch glimpses of Blue Heron, Red-Tailed Hawk, Great Horned Owl, and Mockingbird.
