Marsh Creek State Park

Marsh Creek State Park is located in the rolling hills of northcentral Chester County. It is 1,705 acres in size and contains a 535-acre lake. Marsh Creek Lake is especially popular with sailboaters and windsurfers who take advantage of the combination of good natural terrain and prevailing wind to enjoy their sport. Nature lovers will enjoy a pleasant walk on hiking trails or the Larkins covered Bridge located in the northeast section of the park.

The covered bridge of the "Burr Arch" design was relocated in 1972. Located in the northeast section of the park, the Larkins Bridge is restricted to pedestrian traffic. The 45-ton structure was built in 1881.
