Teton Wilderness ![]() Teton Wilderness is located in the Bridger-Teton National Forest, astride the Continental Divide from the crest of the Absaroka Range to Grand Teton National Park. It contains the headwaters of the Snake and Yellowstone Rivers, and their many tributaries that carve deep canyons. Waterfalls spill from alpine plateaus over the faces of cliffs. After visiting the huge, remote Teton Wilderness, many people wish they had their own wilderness back home. Here you can explore many different habitats. Aquatic, meadow, shrub-swamp, sagebrush, aspen, lodgepole pine, spruce-fir, and alpine are among the many different natural communities you will encounter on your trip to the wilderness.
